Well to parashase a much much quoted line (HECK even Star Trek has used it in their movies), To the IX and Straight on til '2019, but bringing it back to a paraphase quote in the Star Wars fold, 'There has been a Fandom's Optimism ....... have YOU felt it???', okay maybe NOT a full optmism among all fans all across the board (which with Star Wars is just really really REALLY kinda wired to think about), but things have started to at least not blow over like a Volcano on Mustafar. On the latest episode of Fandom Awakens Radio: Fans Together Strong: To the IX and Straight on til '19: A Fandom's Optimism, your hosts David Senden and Kyle Wagner discuss some of the refreshing news in the fandom circles RIGHT NOW, and (of course) some not so refreshing, from the news of Kathleen Kennedy contract extension for 3 years (which takes her right up to 2021), which personally I find Great News cause so far every Star Wars film under her guidance has been a masterpiece in its own right! The only mistake made was by #Disney, who didn't listen to #Lucasfilm, and made them release Solo at an inopportune time, Kyle and I go over that too and Bob Iger who basically feel on a litteral lightsaber for that mistake ............ Gee thanks Bob, next time just listen to Lucasfilm okay

 

Kyle and David review the lastest EXTENDED TRAILER for the new animated series Star Wars: Resistance (listen for FAR FTS's spin-off Resistance Radio Transmissions this October), we even talk a trailer for a franchise of a diffrent color (yellow) we talk the trailer BubbleBee, now now I am sure what your thinking, 'Whats it got to do with Star Wars?', well we uncover that and look through the transformers spark found by Travis Knight, and one has to wonder if episode 9 is indeed closing the book on the Skywalker saga, then isn't a talent like Travis Knight what we need in that galaxy far far away ..........and of course we just have to get to the NOT so refreshing news, and seriously the news around THIS PERSON is the kind of news that would disgust even Carrie Fisher (RIP), and Kyle has a soap box moment which one really can't argue with by the way.
