On this episode of Fandom Awakens Radio 'Luke Skywalkers Return and the Mando Verse Ties that Bind', your hosts David Senden and Kyle Wagner discuss the latest Disney Gallery episode the Making of Season 2 Finale, YOU know what I am gonna just say it, but sorry folks, I’m all for seeing Luke Skywalker again, I’m all for the trickery of how you do it, but as special as it was, when you show me how you did it, well DAM it my eyes and brain are gonna do the work to be floored by it, but when you show me, sorry not sorry some of that’s gone for me, what got an emotional reaction outta me was a few chapters back, Chapter 13  THE JEDI, seeing our girl Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), NOW that got the same kind of emotional reactions from me, as THIS did for ALL of the internet, NOW should we see Luke Skywalker again through means of this visual trickery, and YOU had say Luke meet Ahsoka  well then in THAT case ALL bets are off

 

NOW it is important to note THAT what do have here are bookends in Luke Skywalker's life at this point, bookends that fans can not just sweep under the space rug, just because one of them didn't go a certain way, we have THIS Mando S2 one one side, and on the other we have the obvious one Luke at the point he was in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, BTW people who get upset about Luke in TLJ don't understand or WANT to admit to how trauma can impact a person. It's an inelegant take on the character so I don't expect the masses to get it, but hey THAT is a space slug we spent so much time going down, it makes quarantine seem like a pleasure cruise, the real question nowadays is how those bookends are filled, look at ALL the Mando Verse stuff (we know Thrawn is coming) so clearly we are getting some version (in the content of the Mandalorian) some version of Heir to the Empire, but THAT is speculation for another time
