Well LONG has it been STATED that this galaxy far far away needs NEEDS to get 'outside' the box its been in for going on 50 years now, I mean the galaxy is vast with the possibilities of so so SO many stories, so many eras to EXPLORE and yet for a long LONG time ALL the shows that have come out have either been around, right up against ....... or (lookin at YOU Kenobi), not getting ENOUGH distance from that 'SKYWALKER BOX'

 

We ALL have accepted (HA for the most part LOL anyway), THAT the EXPANSION beyond THAT is coming in one way or another, be it James Mangolds 250,000 set back 'origin of the FORCE' film, or the 2026 New Jedi Order film, although following Episode IX even 15 years later, and course the name REY SKYWALKER can still be a bit of that BTTF HoverBoard near the box LOL LOL Hahahaha, but THAT is a Discussion for another pod at another time
